visit

peiyun came to visit for a week! although her visit was mostly(ok, solely) to see hongwei, it was nice to have another familiar face around.

late night suburb shopping on thursday! yay.. i haven't got the chance to see the malls in the suburbs. we went to westfield carousel. it's huge i tell you.. sort of reminds me of IMM. haha!

i love carousel! but we didn't spend much time there so there were lots of stores that i didn't go into. i'm so going to have to go back!

pow met his uncle for dinner on friday night, daren and i were invited. erm.. ok, not really. we sort of just tagged along. the food was really good.. nice bread, fresh salad, and the meat.. wah. it was nice meeting uncle peter, uncle TC and aunty shan shan..

we brought apple strudel over for dessert. haha.. too bad isaac already brushed his teeth.

met them again for tim sum the next morning.. before their flight back to singapore.

the week ended real quick.. with peiyun's return flight on sunday afternoon.

minghui sms-ed me today.. the things he says never fails to melt my heart. this is one kid i'll never forget.

jinyee told me i'm her favourite teacher in children's church. haha.. so of course i told her she's my cutest kid, and i do mean it. andy likes charity.. but i can't really see what's so cute about her. jinyee is extremely adorable. too bad i only got her photo in my hp.. if not i can post it up and then you'll be able to see for yourself how cute she is. thanks to the sincere words of a little girl.. i finally saw the fruits of my hard labour. minghui may be a brat.. but i'm thankful he allowed me to see his vulnerable side.

A's are over.. time to move on. to what i'm not sure.

i've been lazy. there's no more fun in blogging. but i don't want my blog to be lagging.. so i shall post a short entry today.

officially stopped ministry this week. for the first time in months, i was able to eat breakfast in the morning and be in the hall at 4pm. but something just feel amiss. engwee said i'll get used to it... but i pray i won't. i miss my kids already.. though they can be the most annoying, defient and rude lot (well, not all are bad). i didn't even bid them farewell properly because i forgot about it. =(

had 4-aside game today. my group only managed to play one game.. because of the rain. they're postponing it to next sunday.. but next week is EMERGE, how to go?! argh. we're up against PJC3 and Yuhua highfliers. well, we won our own people.. haha. that put my group in the semi-finals.. hope we win something.

proceeded to go cut hair after the match. reached alex's shop at about 1.30pm... i was only being served at 5pm. hahaha... ok lah, at around 3+pm.. he washed my hair. then i stoned for the longest time, freezing my ass off until he was free. the style is quite similar.. but he insists it's different. mummy's complaining it's too short again.. well.

emerge is next week.. yay! running 1.5km on saturday.. i really want to win.
