my second attempt at curry on monday. it was a HUGE success this time.. well, so i say. (:

we had leftovers.. so i had my curry with prata for lunch the next day. heh heh.

the weather is starting to change. and the coldest day always has to be wednesday.. woohoo, lucky me. we did dives today.. man, it's really my 'lucky' day. i was seriously dead scared, especially when we had to jump off the blocks. thank goodness we did it step by step.. like first sitting at the edge, then on one knee etc. my dives won't the most perfect.. i admit to creating mini-bellyflops. but when i jumped off the block the first time.. gosh, it was a major one! and it hurted like crap. the last one we did off the block was much better. in fact, i think it was almost perfect. but then again, that's just one good attempt out of 6 or 7? because of all the diving, my ears were blocked for the rest of the morning. dajie, i need your expertise in this area. if only you can swim with me... which reminds me, our swim instructor mentioned something today that made me want to cry. he said, "you'll be doing much more swimming next semester than you are this sem." seriously.. c'mon. poor me is going to have to freeze my ass off in the pool during winter mornings?! couldn't they pick some other sport like tennis, cricket or even footy.. *faints*

anyhoo.. it's mid sem week. results for exercise physiology is out.. and i did well. *beams* scored 25/30.. that's 83%. biomechanics test yesterday was alright buuuut.. my neuroanatomy lab exam today was erm.. not as good. the first thought that came to mind after seeing the first 10 questions was 'just take a gun and shoot me already.' and there were 50 specimens to cover! sigh.. this unit is what i call a big-time buang(car bang). only plus(if you even consider it one) is that the mid sem is only 10%.. so i've still got room to catch up. well.. i'm only left with econs paper on friday. pray it goes well.

i can't wait for the weekends.. and this weekend is a long one. hooray!

things are much easier now that i've got a microwave at home. pop the frozen meatballs in and they'll be ready in 3 minutes. yay. the sauce needs some cooking though. the past week was alright. mostly mugging for my ex-phys (exercise physiology) mid semester exam and er.. mahjong. the paper was surprising easy.. *grin*. now i'm just left with econs and biomechanics and neuroanatomy after the easter break. hmmm.. now that i've mentioned, it's alot to cover in one week. (!!!)

hope everyone is having a wonderful easter back home. i miss easter drama and all the busyness during this season. this easter wasn't the best i had.. but still i'm as thankful for the work He's done on the cross. it's because of this that i gave up the fight and surrendered 8 years ago.

tonight's dinner.. cheese and more cheese. seriously, there's nothing i love more than the cooking that goes on in yuk's house. i secretly want to steal all her cookbooks. muahaha! but it'll be too obvious.. i better just go to target and buy.

yuk bought new hot rollers.. and she decided to give it a try. 

now there's another option other than cutting my hair.. i'll just need to give it some thought.

but i left it to cook while i showered. in the end.. the curry dried up. HAHA! well, hongwei said if it was a stir-fry dish, then it was a huge success. 

sunday was fun. we played paintball! pow, daren, valentine, aaron, shim, tiong, john, jerry, hongwei and i.. 10 people in total and we activated 3 cars.

you've got mail

my first attempt at cooking pancakes. it was quite disastrous. well, it was edible.. just not very pretty. i had to rush for swimming practical so i couldn't really bother too.

i came home today.. and there was a slip of paper in my mailbox. it told me i had a package to collect at the post office. (:  i was already expecting it but it was still quite exciting. my first mail from singapore!
