monday's assembly was quite funny. few of us from hockey had to go on 'stage'(our assembly ground has no stage.. annoucements were made from a ramp) to receive our trophies. we came in 4th for a 4-a-side tournament organised by some club. haha.. rather embarrassing but the teacher insisted we made the annoucement. anyhow, i'm only happy about the trophy.. haha! it'll sort of make up for the nationals.

watched 'pirates of the carribean, dead man's chest' with suling, yiying, charlene and yingjie. went cathay to watch. our show was screened in the grand cathay! seriously the cooliest theatre i've step foot into. so big, so posh, so comfortable.. sort of makes me feel like some rich, sophisticated acedemic going to watch a concert. LOL! it was good.. johnny depp is as dashing as ever. just wondering how long it'll be to the third movie.. hope they make it fast. the next movie i'm dying to watch is 'lake house'.. it's starring keanu reeves and sandra bullock. saw the advertisment for it about 2 months back during the commercial time before a movie started. think it's opening on 27th jul... yay.

oh.. and here's another 'yay' thing .. i'm finally going to get my france NUM top. hooooooray! went to the outlet at cathay after the movie. at first the guy there said no more stock.. he called other outlets, same reply. then he looked at the one on display.. walked over, tilted the mannequin and checked.. then he smiled and said, 'miss, this one's an extra-small.' hahaha... i reserved it, because i don't have enough cash.. and i've yet to replace my atm card. still.. it's going to be mine! yay to that.. =))

i've been lazy. there's no more fun in blogging. but i don't want my blog to be lagging.. so i shall post a short entry today.

officially stopped ministry this week. for the first time in months, i was able to eat breakfast in the morning and be in the hall at 4pm. but something just feel amiss. engwee said i'll get used to it... but i pray i won't. i miss my kids already.. though they can be the most annoying, defient and rude lot (well, not all are bad). i didn't even bid them farewell properly because i forgot about it. =(

had 4-aside game today. my group only managed to play one game.. because of the rain. they're postponing it to next sunday.. but next week is EMERGE, how to go?! argh. we're up against PJC3 and Yuhua highfliers. well, we won our own people.. haha. that put my group in the semi-finals.. hope we win something.

proceeded to go cut hair after the match. reached alex's shop at about 1.30pm... i was only being served at 5pm. hahaha... ok lah, at around 3+pm.. he washed my hair. then i stoned for the longest time, freezing my ass off until he was free. the style is quite similar.. but he insists it's different. mummy's complaining it's too short again.. well.

emerge is next week.. yay! running 1.5km on saturday.. i really want to win.

tournament's officially over for us. sadly, we didn't make it to the semis. haven't got the time to update on the previous matches.. so here's the final scores..

i must give credit to this team.. in a sense, we improved during each successive game. looking at the figures.. it does seem like i'm contradicting myself. we got trashed by vj.. BUT (check this out) we're the only school that scored a goal against them! everyone else lost with a 0.. we, on the other hand, got the ball pass their goalie. and by the way, that goal was our first goal this season too, so everybody went delirious when we heard the 'bloke' sound. kelly said they(those sitting out) were so happy until they cried when we scored... haha. the match was suppose to end with the score 2-1.. but during the last 2 minutes, we made a boo boo and the ball slowly rolled into our goal.. sigh. however.. the vj match was the BEST game i've played. initially, i didn't want to play .. many things happened within the team.. but it was sort of cleared out before the vj game. come to think of it.. i was just about ready to give up on my team. thanks to ms ho.. i did play in the end.. and i'm SO glad i did.

the last match was... umm, unforgetable. victory, laughs, tears..(both of sadness and joy), sweat.. everything. it's kind of hard to let go.. but i guess i must learn to. there were many heart-felt 'thank you's... it was an emotional moment. almost everyone was in tears. after about 30 minutes... the girls were smiling prettily, posing for the cameras. haha.. must admit that part was fun.

someone's complaining that i don't update my blog.. really sorry about that, just don't have the time. season has kicked off.. and i'm having difficulties catching up with my work. wish all this is over soon.

pj hockey girls played against sajc on thursday. we lost 1-0. the team was quite upset, because we could have played much better. personally, it was an especially disapponting match for me. it's not that i made any major boo-boos, but i underperformed... BIG TIME! =(

apparently, i(right mid-field) wasn't communicating enough with jocelyn(the centre mid-field).. hence there weren't enough chances for us to play along the right side because we couldn't link up our passes. even if the ball did manage to come to our side.. my passes were like trash(one even went straight to the opponent), if not i wasn't able to stop the ball properly etc. it was really horrible!

ohh... during the 1st half, my retarded skirt gave me so much problems lah. urghh.. it's quite hard to explain here but try to bear with me. well, our skirts are seriously the ugliest and most useless part of our uniform. for starters, it's not even a proper skirt, it's just a piece of cloth we wrap around our waist. it's held by a strap of valcro and a buckle thingy. unfortunately for us.. the size was wrong and it was too small, so for most of us.. the skirt is too tight(thus also too short). blah blah blah.. i got distracted by my stupid skirt because the buckle thingy came off like 15 minutes into the game.. (thanks man!) sigh... our jersey this year is super hideous! we look more like cheerleaders than hockey players.

when playing defense during the 1st half, everyone kept telling me to mark my player in the D area.. (ok, this one was partly my fault) i WAS marking my player.. but i kept some distance between us. it slipped my mind that we were suppose to do tight-marking in the top D.. so everybody was screaming at me to "MARK YOUR MAN!!". faz(our goalie), ain(right back), ms ho(coach) from the sideline and even tiff(my senior) who was standing with the spectators.. it was as though they planned it all, each of them took turns to tell me the same thing. i got really frustrated because i didn't understand what's wrong lah.. sigh.

i think i really performed below ms ho's expectations. think she wanted alot more from me. during stretching, she kept looking at me even though she was talking to the whole team. it wasn't just eye contact can.. she literally stood in front of me, stared into my eyes, telling it in my face when the team was standing in a circle. gosh...! she was saying something about "you've got to give it your all today" when she stood in front of me.. imagine how awkward is that can! everyone was looking. but that's not the worst yet... after that, ms ho did it again. but the 2nd time wasn't that obvious, she just stood near me and said "kristy, now's your time to shine".. she had the kind of sinister smile.. so i sort of just smiled back at her.. but in my heart i was like "WHAT CRAP!!" goodness.. does she know how pressurizing that sounds? well, back to the game. so in the end, she took me out after about 15 minutes into the second half and i didn't get to play the rest of it. =((

monday's our game against acjc.. God please help us beat them! i'm trying to visualise the final score of 3-0!! ahhhhh..... i didn't know tournament would be so hard!!! oh.. the game on monday is 3pm at delta sports complex.. if you support pj, please do come! if not.. don't let me catch you cheering for acjc when i'm playing. thanks...

it's finally out. everybody ought to get one (the original!). i was suppose to pre-order it. but i didn't have time. argh!! now i don't get the free giant poster.. sob!

"bend it like beckham" aired on channel 5. was kind of like "goal" but it was still rather inspiring. made me think of hockey. at first, i joined hockey just to get out of dance.. but now, i'm really beginning to like this game. having regrets about not showing up for the grading session during trials last year. but at least i'm in now.. hope i'll be able to play still even after i leave pj. pj hockey is a nice team.. but i'm not very attached to them. maybe only a few.. but i guess they're just not my kind of clique. trainings are going to start next monday.. i'm going to be diligent. hopefully i get to represent pj in competition next year.

hockey farewell dinner.. was rather fun. spent most of the night playing 'foto found'. haha.. we wanted to beat the high score so badly.. didn't though in the end. got my shirts finally.. the sweatshirt turned out a little different but it's still nice anyway. like the picture of the pitch at the back.. =)

met shelin, wendell and chengkhee at bugis after that.. ck brought us around. haven't been to bugis for the longest time.. it's so different now. didn't have enough time to see everything because it was so late.. nevermind.. there's always another day. at least i bought a pair of earrings.. yay.

ahh... monday. have to go to school! sian.. but at least tomorrow's a holiday!!!! woohoo!

school's ok... quite a relaxed day. went out of school to meet gabriel to pass him joel's febuary devotions. gabbie was super sweet.. haha. when we parted.. he suddenly called me and told me to walk faster.. haha! becuase he saw 2 ah bengs walking my direction.. and he added they were quarrelling before that. lol.. very cute right?!

well.. went back to school because got hockey training at 5pm. rotted in school before that.. but luckily i saw momo..! hoho... thank goodness.. there's someone to accompany me! after eating we went for training.. today's training quite slack.. haha. we played a game at the end of it. the people in my team was huixia, lauren, and kaili.. haha! i picked them. the 1st game.. we lost.. by one goal which the other team scored just before the game ended! ahh.. nevermind. then for the second game.. joyce joined my group!!! yayy!! and we won.. haha. hockey is fun.. the people are so 'together'. then some of us went for dinner at bukit panjang plaza.. i'm the only newbie.. felt abit weird at first.. but they are really very nice people.. especially joyce and huiwen. they take really good care of me.. =)

i'm tired now... but i definitely enjoyed myself alot! hee. good night!

my first hockey training!!

i'm finally back blogging!! it's been ages since i did this.. can't blame me really. glad dajie's back now..! hee..

was really looking forward to today!! going for my first hockey training!! hohoho... but i was going to be late for training becuase of the horrible debate!! arghh....! it was suppose to end by 2.15pm.. but as the people came late.. the whole thing dragged until about 2.35pm. the debate was really bad...... the opposition from S01 were so good lah! think they all have debating experiences.. so it was no wonder we lost. the best speaker was also from the team. congrates to them anyway..! they really did a good job.

by the time i reported.. the hockey girls have already finished their 5 rounds!! training was alright.. did some of the basic stuff.. but i guess it's important! we played a game after training.. my team had 3 other guys and i.. really pity them because i was seriously quite useless.. didn't do anything much.. haha! we played against momo's team.. it was very fun!!! the whole training wasn't that tiring.. i think it's just the weather that's making it worse. oh.. and my poor left foot got smashed by the hockey ball 3 times!! and i seriously mean smash!! it didn't hurt then.. but the pain's starting to irk me. hope it'll go away soon! oOoO... and guess what?! we get to keep our hockey sticks!! haha... so we can practise at home. =)

ahh.. got math test tomorrow.. better sleep early. i'm really tired! haha.. i love hockey!!
