i know i'm late in doing my 'thoughts on 2009/welcome 2010' post but here it is anyway. sorry for the delay.. bangkok from the 27th-30th was too tiring i had to rest on the 31st.

2009 was great! well.. for one, i managed to cross out most things on my goal-setting card. most of the year are memories of australia.. and that's something i have my daddys to thank for. it's really hard being away from home all these months but i'm really thankful for my besties who are just like family to me.

best friend no. 1

doh, not my friend for the longest time but he's my life saver in aussie. definitely the most unlikely person i'd imagine to be my bestie but yea.. i know i seem awfully violent but that's how i show my love. i promise to be better though!

best friend no. 2

jerry baby! just a really awesome guy with the nicest personality. thanks for letting a shuai-ge sit beside me on the flight back.

of course there's my lovelies back in singapore.. who constantly send their love over, without which i would have died. thanks for remembering me even while i was away. you girls really need to know how important you are to me.. thanks for the past 5 years. i know i can always count on you 3 to be there for me.

also ben.. my one and only bbf. for endless hours of entertainment.. my most up-to-date link with things going on back home. (:

and andy dearest, for always keeping me company on msn.. showing me videos on youtube and giving me updates about what's going on in church. it's not that i don't get your point.. i do. you just don't like it when i disagree with you and then you'll say i don't get it. still, it's always nice to hear from my happy rocker.

last but definitely not the least.. pow. 2009 isn't 2009 without you. the past 11 months knowing you has been an adventure and the last 6 months loving you has been a fairytale. i really don't know what you see in me but i'm very grateful that you chose to love me.. because i'd never in my life think i could actually find a guy as perfect (in my opinion) as you. thank you for seeing the best in me and loving me so unconditionally. kiss kiss.

in the midst of exams now.. so just a short post. andy is starting to listen to jay chou. he even got jiayu to teach him the lyrics to 不能说的秘密. andy, this is one of my favourite songs by him.. 兰亭序. posted up the lyrics before.. so i won't put it up again. you can watch this to kill time before i come back. if you can, go learn the lyrics too.. haha. then you'll know why i say this song is very nice.

you've got mail

my first attempt at cooking pancakes. it was quite disastrous. well, it was edible.. just not very pretty. i had to rush for swimming practical so i couldn't really bother too.

i came home today.. and there was a slip of paper in my mailbox. it told me i had a package to collect at the post office. (:  i was already expecting it but it was still quite exciting. my first mail from singapore!

cg christmas party on sunday.. with the theme, 70s old school. for some reason, i wasn't that dressed-up.. but that's not the point.

bought 'bridge to terabithia' dvd because it's finally on discount! the first time i watched it was with beverley.. we both cried buckets. watching it again was just as good.. it makes me want to be a kid again.

i honestly think this picture is very cute.. sort of exemplifies my definition of 'retarded'. but of course don't take it the negative way.. i meant like funny/lame-retarded. the first look almost made me burst out laughing. it amazes me that i see the andy i know now in this picture.. seems like he didn't really grow out of it.

to andy : although i'm doubtful about how much you 'regard my opinion'.. i will say that you are friend. just pleaassssee try to stop all the 'bec../val..' nonsense.. or you could just have fun with timothy. (:

it's crap when you've got no cash.. can't enjoy the season as much.

suling's birthday celebration. white dog cafe at vivo. cute place.. they have the weird habit that breeks at marina square has, all the staff will greet you when you enter or leave. it's funny because all attention is drawn to you when they shout "hi, welcome!!" together.

yiying was our 'surprise guest' that night. as you can see hadh's missing from the picture. no.. she's not taking the photo for us.. that girl went to malaysia for holiday!! rawr.

watched 'the holiday' after dinner. it's a cute show.. and jude law owns the most charming smile. 9.50pm show.. it ended at about 12.10am!! it's always exciting when i get to stay out after midnight. (man, i sound pathetic)

christmas arrived. melvin came for service.. and kelvin decided to tag along. (they are my cousins.. melvin is 14 and kelvin's only 9) mel went for altercall.. PTL! and he actually enjoyed himself. yay. well, so did kelvin.. considering he got a free goodie bag, and got to play bumper car, viking ship and those bouncing-thingy that children go crazy over.

cool uh. the furnishings in the restuarant were all black.. hence it's name(in chinese).

just got a job today. the salary is peanuts.. $5.50/hr. sigh.. well, beggers can't be choosers.
going for lunch with andy tomorrow.. his treat. haha! here's my way of saying thanks.
