sydney day 2

day 2 started with tim sum breakfast at some chinese restaurant above paddy's market.

krist and edmond went to meet some friends and we had our own plans for today also.. going to see the famous opera house and harbour bridge. some more view of the city...

spain had just won the world cup.

we took a free bus to circular quay, where we will be taking a short cruise. it's part of the package we signed up for with backpackers.

sydney harbour bridge.

see the people on the bridge? they're climbing the bridge. i actually wanted to join the tour but it's quite expensive. and since we've already spent so much for skydiving, we decided to give it a pass this time.

it may look hot but it's actually very cold. we had time to kill and you know how they say it's shiok to eat ice cream on a cold day. finally on the cruise. man, was the wind strong that day. i got evidence in one of the photos later.

there's alot more than just the opera house and harbour bridge to see on the cruise but i shan't bore you with all that. the cruise took longer than we thought, so after that we walked back to the city to meet krist and edmond for early dinner. they recommended this malaysian restaurant, mamak. the queue is madness.. every single night. so pow and i went at 5.30pm to make sure we got seats. we still had to wait a little while.. but at least we're not eating dinner at 9pm.

it was krist and edmond's last day in sydney. after dinner we walked them to central station and said our goodbyes. we then headed out on our own little adventure..

tram ride!!

well, we went to star city again that night since it was still early. of course we headed back early to rest.. skydiving the next day. woohoo! anyway, thanks so much krist(and edmond) for bringing us around!! i would have been so lost without you two. our first 2 days in sydney was really fun and we ate like kings. really glad that you were able to join me in sydney. (:
