i really love my friends! and this is not just a casual statement. a friend to me is someone whom i love and trust enough to share my life with. i'm pretty selective when it comes to this. put it simply, i don't have alot of friends. haha! so my friends should know who they are.
celebrated two 21st birthdays last week.. hadh's and jasmine's. went for jasmine's party in the afternoon.. simple buffet with rather interesting company. once i entered the function room, danny was introduced.. haha. he seems like a nice guy and suling was super enthusiastic in getting to know him la. i think he'll be part of the clique soon enough, or at least i hope. also at the party, i finally saw lilin after like.. years.

then came our darling. hadh was going to bring us to Secret Garden(and quite literally too).. *excited* it's really ulu but it's also very lovely. like some quiet out-of-town getaway. wait till you see what we got minah.. you'll be jealous. haha! kate spade pencilcase! even i want it la. hadh was so happy she cried, which made me cry too. okok, don't imagine it as some emo session. let's just say it's just us being appreciatative. hadh's birthday was on 28th August.. but i thought she was 'too busy' to meet up, so we postponed the celebration till now. turns out, she was actually saving up to treat us girls. *super duper extremely touched, hadh darling* but ya, kate spade had a part to play in launching the whole 'teary cum silly laughs' episode.

suling and i became amateur photographers for the night, with mich and hadh as our models. LOL! we seriously took alootttttt of pictures. played around with lighting, angles, tones and what have you. quite fun actually. maybe.. if i'm any good, i'll learn photography proper. here's some of what i think are my best shots of the evening.. i realised this is our 4th year together.. that means 4 birthdays that we have celebrated for each other. then i realised i've got a terrible memory when trying to recall what we did previous years. but i think all the memories of our 21st will be here to stay.. i'm speaking for myself at the least.
saw andy at jurong west church on sunday. a 'hi' will be so much more endearing than 'what?!'.. you ought to try that next time. oh well, i guess that's what i get for making you my bitch.
