picnic at botanic gardens. it's been a while and i must say it was rather fun. xenia, moxi and i prepared the food, which i thought was an absolute success. haven't been to botanic gardens since eons. was snapping pictures everywhere once i got there.. machiam like some tourist la. now i'm thinking of visiting the zoo and other 'places of interest'.. haha.

there was this big horde of people in pink at the area that we were sitting. moxi mentioned they might be supporters of homosexuality, quite like those quit smoking or breast cancer kind of groups. i'm not too certain about the facts though. there were a few gays present(as shown above) but also normal families.. didn't really take not of lesbians if there were any.

ok.. her name isn't really maggot. she's magdelene. it's just we've been calling her that since sec 1 so it's kind of hard to change now. even when we sang the birthday song.. it was 'to maggot'! haha.. i thought with her family and other friends around, they would call her by name but i guess 'maggot' is here to stay. i quite like all the 21st parties that i've been attending this year.. all the mini reunions are rather special.. especially the mg gatherings.

first time i missed the fireworks on national day.. but well, after seeing what they have in beijing during the opening ceremony.. it's really...... ($43 million leh!!). poor me only had 3 birthday candles lit to celebrate the occasion.
