our first ever JOL zone camp. only went yesterday because mid-years is next week. my cg won 2 out of 3 matches for captain's ball.. well done guys!! i wanted to help out in the kitchen.. but since i can't really cook, wenrui assigned me to do the washing up. had a whole line of program for the day.. sports(captain's ball, soccer), talentime, cg, POCG.. and then dinner! food prepared was hardly enough.. in the end, we took out everything we had.. maggie mee, eggs, bisuits, tuna, fishballs, cereal and milk. jo and a few of us were in a mad scamble to cook up more food for those who didn't get to eat. jacky and i cooked the maggie mee, but it ended up too salty. still, the people loved it. within 5 minutes, ying jie came back with the empty pot saying they wanted more.. haha.

the journey home was rather entertaining. we were playing some intellectual games.. well, and some not so intellectual ones. carl sent me home because he wanted to get his guitar. along the way, we were talking and it was as though i got a new revelation of carl. haha! some things he said were quite unexpected.. it was weird coming from him. don't misunderstand.. it was actually a good thing. it's just a different side of him i've not seen before. but the fellowship we had was something i really enjoyed. oh, and his friend weijie wants to come for service this week. praise the Lord!!
